We first met at work, in the completely un-romantic dungeon of a modern nuclear plant. Our first talk was over a cup of coffee that was more grounds than coffee, after being awake for 22 hours. Just two coworkers trying our best, we came to rely on each other for support and a matching sense of humor. Somewhere between bad jokes and worse sleep cycles, our friendship blossomed into something better.
